If you can't sell it for a price, you will be "charged" if you discard it "without a door"... As the garbage sorting work continues to advance in depth, the disposal of large pieces of furniture seems to have become a "hot potato" in the hands of some people.
With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the quality of life requirements are getting higher and higher, and the speed of furniture iteration and upgrading is accelerating. However, in many areas, large pieces of garbage need to be placed separately, and the direction of waste furniture has become a difficult problem for many people.
Residents steal furniture at night
"Secretly let it out at night, and the sanitation helped get it away." Liu Tong (a pseudonym), who lives in Fengtai District, Beijing, wanted to put a piece of used furniture in his home at the garbage sorting point in the community, but was told that the place could not be stored, and he could not find a special storage point. So he took the night to put the old furniture outside the community, and soon after, the furniture was shipped away. He said: "I have to get it out at night, [people] see it, and I have to let you take it away."
In some areas, it is not uncommon for large pieces of garbage such as waste furniture to be piled up indiscriminately. According to the report of the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, since August this year, various branches have stopped a total of 85 cases of random piling, among which decoration garbage and large pieces of old furniture have a more prominent impact on the street image. Law enforcement officers demanded immediate rectification and contacted the sanitation department to clean up the unmanaged garbage as soon as possible.
In response to the problem that residents are far from the storage point of large waste, it is difficult to carry it by themselves, and lack of processing time, the "throw-away" service has gradually emerged.
Earlier, Wang Wei, the founder of Cleanup Brother, who has been engaged in second-hand furniture recycling for a long time, found that residents had some large items that had no recycling value but needed to be disposed of urgently. At first, he would help with the recycling. In 2019, as such situations became more and more, he specialized in the business of removing large pieces of garbage.
