"The number of goods declared for export from here reaches 20 every day, which facilitates customs clearance and visual tracking throughout the process, and the efficiency has been greatly improved." Hu Xiao, the business manager of Zhejiang Rice Tuan Supply Chain Service Co., Ltd., flipped through the customs declaration form and recorded the relevant information of machinery and equipment sold to India and daily necessities exported to the Middle East.
In June this year, Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port opened, taking the sea-rail intermodal train, the goods were transported by rail from Yiwu to Ningbo Zhoushan Port, without the need to detour to Hangzhou as before, reducing the freight distance by more than 100 kilometers and reducing logistics costs by 10% to 20%.
One end is connected to the "world supermarket" and the other end is connected to the "world's largest port". This new logistics channel has witnessed the strong pulse of foreign trade.
"The cost has dropped, the timeliness is faster, and the export is more competitive." Hu Xiao said that in combination with the market demand of different countries, the company has rapidly iterated product design, and the new customer base has increased significantly. The total export volume in the first 11 months increased by about 20%. "As long as there are good products, there is no shortage of new customers. Now it is the end of the year and the beginning of the year, and there is another wave of orders."
Logistics channels are widening and trade routes are widening.
